I don't think it's lower demand but more that they don't want to deal with the regulation's trouble. I would think that there is more demand after Binance and other exchanges got into trouble. Well, I guess those troubles are just civil matters and not criminal matters. So at worst, those places can get hit by fines.

Maybe they think it is better to avoid any regulatory scrutiny, so they took this action. Even Robinhood is delisting Cardano, Polygon, and Solana for the same reason, I guess.
