RE: Hive Goals: A Much Different Approach

That would be an interesting way to set goals. I agree that it would be way easier because you have full control over your actions. Of course if you put in enough work, the other rewards naturally show up if you keep up the quality.

Hehe, it's really not easy, I believe what he means is that, these type of goals are not results which needs others input, there are solely dependent on you, so it makes it then a goal you've got to focus on to achieve

MY experience on Hive is the rewards will flow as one focused upon and increases his or her activity.

However, you are right, the point is to focus upon what we can control. Rewards are not really under that other than our own curation.

But we can choose to leave a comment or work a bit harder on our blog posts.

And I think it's also healthier. If you want to have your 10000 Leo, you could be tempted to do a lot of quick posts to have the more rewards possible and only concentrate on quantity before quality.

Setting a realistic goal based on your actions is better. If you set a goal at 5 good comments per day you can do it easier.

Certainly it is likely the more active one is, the greater the likelihood that success will result. That is in all aspects of life though.

Hive is just a microcosm. Put in the effort and do it consistently and we will see the rewards coming. But that should not be the focus.
