This trade almost happened Celtics to acquire the Wizards’ Kristaps Porzingis in a three-team deal that sends Malcolm Brogdon to Clippers. LA would be sending Marcus Morris, Amir Coffey and 30th pick to Washington #nba #sports
Is Porzingis still soft like he was as a Knick, or did he acquire some toughness over the years? Drafting Porzingis is maybe the only good thing Phil Jackson did for the Knicks, but he almost ruined him, too.
Yeah. Plus he never had any meat on his bones. Not like guys such as Mark Eaton or Kevin Duckworth who were not so easy to push around and could take a bump.

@magnacarts - Porzingis had a decent season for the Wizards but I’m a bit baffled especially that the Celtics traded away Smart in the deal.
Porzingis never was the same since he was shipped from the Knicks.
Smart move by the New Yorkers on that one. He never recovered his previous form.
He never reached his potential - period - @taskmaster4450le - unfortunately
No he didnt. He did start off great. The injury derailed him though. That could be a big part of it.
Without question - fragile but it's tough on big guys like that to stay healthy.

Boston is still working on it. Just the 3-team is dead. Woz just Tweeted about it.
@jongolson - that should make you happy because Porzingis is definitely not the answer 🤣
A slight downgrade from Phoenix's new big 3 lololol
@jongolson - yeah, Beale, Brown and Tatum would have been a bit more formidable but still not versus than Beale, Booker and Durant
