By the trading deadline I wouldn't be surprised if the Mets trade Alonso and if the offer is hard to resist perhaps Diaz as well as Quintana and a few other veterans. It's what teams fortifying their farm system does. With that said, the Mets started the season 0-5 and now have won 10 out of their 13 games and they are tied with the Phillies for second place not far behind the Braves after sweeping the Pirates today.
