All he had to do was call free agents & get them to sign on the dotted line; they would have been happy to take his call. He didn't call them, so they felt slighted, so they stayed away from the Knicks. It was a failure from top to bottom.
The only thing worse than Jim Dolan owning the Knicks is Jim Dolan owning the Jets. And that team hasn't done well since Tim Tebow got to wear the kelly green for Rex Ryan.
I gave up on Jets after Mark Sanchez immortalized himself with The Butt Fumble. Only the 2nd coming of the New York Sack Exchange or Bill Parcells+Vinny Testaverde+Curtis Martin can bring me back. My fandom has been a free agent since then.
