RE: My Financial Goals For 2021

in LeoFinance3 years ago

Hello dear friend @chekohler good day
For those of us who live outside the countries that use the Dollar, or the Euro as a transaction currency, it is a good way to support our savings, saving in our local currency, the devaluation decapitalizes us day by day.
You have a good vision of what to invest in, I had not thought about company stocks, I would like to be able to invest like you in metals, but in Argentina it is impossible to import, the cost is very high.
Excellent your predictions for this year, you will undoubtedly meet your goals
I take this opportunity to wish you a happy and prosperous year

I’ve read up a bit about Argentina’s constant devaluation of the Peso and the defaulting on sovereign debt and wow they’ve really mismanaged the economy

Is holding dollars still outlawed? I guess you could still get USDT or USDC stable coins I’d you want to own dollars or Euros

My country was always badly managed, since I was eight years old I have suffered this type of situation, always for some reason we have the highest inflation in the world, our weight is always devalued.

It is not forbidden to buy dollars, the official price of the dollar is something of 96 Argentine pesos, but if you want to buy you have to pay some internal taxes that raise the value to 150 pesos, it is the reason why you cannot buy dollars, as if it were little, now they want to include a tax on virtual currencies, they don't know how to continue stealing, our governments are very corrupt.

That is horrible, I heard there is quite a black market for US dollars in Argentina too, it's sad to see them trying to take on something like digital currencies that could seriously help unlock a lot of the potential in the country. From what I've seen its a beautiful place and has amazing resources that could be put to better use if not corrupted like this, same in our country, but probably not yet as bad

If what you say is true, there is a black market for the purchase of dollars, but it is much more expensive, you should talk about 1 dollar is equal to 164 Argentine pesos.

My country is a large territory, there is a lot of wasted land, we put it to produce as it should, we can sell food to the whole world, we could be the largest suppliers in the world, however here work is not motivated, here it is induced people not to work and live on social plans. No one works here anymore, they all live off the state, and that allows the rulers to be more corrupt, you don't imagine how the presidents he assumes become millionaires with Argentina, and we are getting worse and worse.
I wish you a prosperous week
