Does the growth of Polygon suggest that it possesses the best of Ethereum and Binance?

in LeoFinance3 years ago

My first examination of the facts, as I understand them is this:

Ethereum
Issue: High Gas Costs
Feature: High Security

Binance Smart Chain:
Issue: Low Security: rug pulls & flash loan Feature: Lower Gas Costs the Ethereum 100x less

Polygon:
Feature: Lower gas fees then Binance 1000x less
Feature: Security:Final settlement on Ethereum.

So it appears that:
Ethereum is expensive, but secure..
Binance is inexpensive, but becoming insecure.
Polygon is inexpensive and secure.

So it appears that;
Hundreds of developers have built projects on Polygon.
Hundreds of projects have launched on Polygon.
Thousands of investors have moved their money to this ecosystem.
Four bridges have been built to move money from Ethereum to Polygon and from Binance to Polygon.

Conclusion;
The current narrative is that Polygon is cheaper and safer then Binance Smart Chain, and it has attracted over 2 billion dollars in investment, along with a billionaire fan, and investor: Mark Cuban.
Whether that last point is good or bad longterm, as in See Elon Musk throw rocks at Bitcoin. I think the jury is still out.

I think Polygon is going to be big, agree or disagree?

Ehereum fees are ridiculously high, they have to reasonable if not inexpensive.

Agree. My research suggests these fees can sometimes be 40$ per transaction.
