The recent action of the centralized founder shows how one person gains control over other people’s visibility in the internet space. Meanwhile, in the decentralized system, users have control (full ownership) over their data, privacy, assets, etc. This is a clear indication that centralized platforms offer convenience and accessibility, but are susceptible to manipulation and exploitation. Certainly, the Twitter X authority holds significant control over content moderation, data privacy, and algorithmic processes within the space. So, any day/anytime policy is changed, it affects the entire users of that space which poses risks to user trust.
