I always told myself, when $HIVE gets to a certain price, it's time to stack again....
Obviously this isn't some revelation or anything. I'll be going on my 8th year on the blockchain in a couple of days. But this past year I was left with a very sour taste in my mouth. I wasn't happy with how the chain was going. I didn't like the 'punishment' of powering down to become a thing on chain. The DHF drama was on another level. And the hatred spewed towards micro-content just a few years now, all of a sudden was getting embraced.
I was upset, but as my influence on the chain has become pretty much a non-factor these days, I just shut up and focused on other things. I still powered down, because life happens. And when the price of the token got so low, I knew it was time for a change.
So on December 1st, on Hive Power Up Day, I did something that I didn't do in pretty much all of 2025. I powered up!
And going forward, I think it's a great time to flip those reward payouts to 100% HP for now. Because as we have seen in the past few bear markets on this blockchain, the best time to create and curate is when....Most people disappear.
As for the drama on chain and the issues at hand, I really don't have much to add. I will forever love the #web3 promise of Hive. I still think the top dogs on chain could make this place much more inviting to smaller accounts and new Hivians. And it's obvious the bulk of the DHF payouts do absolutely nothing to improve my life lol
But at 10 cents or whatever Hive is right now....I can't help but think it's a great time to rebuild my stacks. This has been my 'social media' home for almost a decade. And I know, that doesn't always attract the investors, but for me, I wouldn't want to create content anywhere else.
Obviously, not financial advice because just look at my track record....Everything I pick either tanks ro doesn't do anything LOL But again, I'm way past trying to make a living off this stuff. Won't happen for me in this lifetime. So rather than fighting over rewards and trying to make a sustainable living from my content....I'm just going to enjoy the ride.
Whatever the future brings, should be an adventure no matter what lol

Just continue stacking. I have been stacking up HP, and I think that Hive still has potential. We still have issues with things such as the DHF, and as always, lets continue to stack while people disappear.
I admire your faith in Hive. We need influential people who understand growth and marketing.
