Thursday Night Live - Did ListNerds Flip The Metrics...?

We had a lot of fun in tonight's show :)

Over the years, 2 of the most important metrics in email marketing has been:

Open rates & click through rates!

And with ListNerds, we are seeing record breaking CTR. Well over 90% average...Which is unheard of in the market.

Unfortunately, the open rates haven't been as high. Which is the complete opposite of what tradional platforms like ListNerds experience.

With the relase of 'Shaky Shaky' we're hoping to increase the open rates for all emails sent and add even more value to the platform.

But....Will it hurt the record high click through rates?

We discuss that and so much more.... (Including Blain opening 40 #Splinterlands packs lol)

Hope you enjoy the show!

I liked the talk about Listnerds and I hope to get my first shaky shaky soon. Right now, Listnerds has a high CTR but not enough people opening. So increasing that wouldn't be a bad thing at all.

"Shaky, shaky," I like the sound of it. Incentives though random, still work.

I was about to sleep, but before I do that I thought of visiting ctp.talk, and here I found your podcast. Just listen up to the first 5 minutes and there is already so much information. Will continue tomorrow.

Just joined ListNerds 4 days ago. Great to hear about more use cases for ListNerds token. Also that idea of being able to buy a Mountain Dew from 7/11 using HivePay? That would be great! That's a big wow!

100k plus people opening Listnerds mail every day? How about a million? Can the website accommodate such a number without difficulty? I don't know. But to me, the idea of connecting email marketing to the blockchain is really something new, and even revolutionary.

For now, all my CTP tokens though small were all staked in my Hive Engine wallet. Perhaps, on the first day of next month, I can set aside a minimal amount to buy some CTP tokens to be staked on ListNerds. Happy that even without staked tokens, when I connected my ListNerds account to my CTP account, I could at least do four upvotes.

I remain quite optimistic about the effect the new feature will have on engagement. If let's say open rates double, CTR can go as low as 50% and that would be equivalent to a 100% CTR with the open rates from now, by counting effective clicks on the links in the two scenarios. And we will have our random prizes too. :)
