Yeah and people in traditional social media are fascinated with the rewards that web3 provides. as much as people want to ignore that, and i'm not sure if it'll ever be 'the reason' web 3 takes off...but it is something that captures the attention

From the perspective of a developer / content creator, before you optimize SEO and get traffic over Google, a lot of time can pass before someone reads your post. Same with YouTube. 4k watch hours 1000 subscribers etc

I spent 25 years in internet marketing....Spent about 3 minutes of that time worrying about SEO lol

I mean, you can optimize for sure...But there are much more effective ways to generate page views and engagement.
