This crypto journey of mine has been quite the roller coaster....
When I first got into this stuff, $BTC was a hundred bucks. I had about 50 of them and then, without getting into too many details, basically had them stolen. No big deal, because when they were stolen, they were about 500 bucks each. So yeah it was a loss, but I kept saying to myself....This crypto stuff is the future.
I dabbled in a few tokens, which of course if I held onto them now I'd be rich lol But put pretty much all my time, energy and effort into the $HIVE blockchain for almost a decade now. My mindset was...Build! Build your business, build your community and this #web3 stuff is going to revolutionize the world.
Welp...Here we are.....
And while things didn't always work out, and some people might have given up, I still enjoy my time here and love the community that has been built. It's been my online family of sorts and I'm forever grateful.
I think my attitude towards crypto was....Hold. Because eventually something I pick will moon shot. And then life happens, I sell and the moon shot either never shows up, or way after I have exited. And I think that's why I'm so excited about what @leostrategy is building right now...
Do you even RWA bro?
Like I said, I call this crypto stuff a journey because I'm learning new things every day. A few years ago, I had no idea what defi was, but thanks to the stuff being talked about on chain and within the $LEO community, I started to discover new features of different blockchains. About a month ago, I started hearing RWA being tossed around in Threads and had no idea what it represented....
And this isn't a post about all the intricacies of them, but let's just say that these yield paying 'real world assets' are starting to get my engine running upstairs. I am beginning to see, how you can literally build daily / weekly and monthly income from holding these tokens.
That's exciting to me.
That to me, is a much better game plan for my life currently than the...Hold and hope for a moon shot that I've been doing for a decade.
Here's why....
My life has been in rebuild mode for 7 plus years now. And I don't have the luxury of 'sitting and waiting for this stuff to go to the moon'. If I was 20 something with no kids and a wife...Sure, let me gamble a bit. But right now, I need to make sure bills are paid and food is in my family's belly.
RWA's and things like SURGE allow me to do that.
Does that mean I'm getting out of holding to different tokens? No, not at all. But the attraction of having weekly and daily income from my crypto is exactly what I need. Plus in the case of something like TTSLA, I have exposure to the TELSA stock. It's pretty exciting stuff the more you look into it. And that's really making me excited once again for this crypto stuff...
And here's the my gameplan that I'm following without a super intensive knowledge of this stuff...
Create content on the blockchain. And believe me, I'm not getting rich from this.
Take those rewards, and buy some SURGE and TESLA
Every week, take some dividends from SURGE, reinvest it into SURGE
Every day, auto compound my TTSLA into more tokens, and let it ride.
Will I get rich overnight?
Not at all...And it might take a year or two but if you are looking for a 'safer' plan than just hoping for the moon shots....This maybe in. And for old times sake...This is NOT financial advice, this is just what Jongo is doing!!!!
Note: LEO Rocks! I love sending rewards to the community. We all win! 5% of the rewards from this post go to both @leofinance and @leostrategy

I know dwelling in the past won't help anyone but dang 50 BTC, that is enough to retire on if sold at today's current year 2025 prices.
It's something that adds up over time. Hopefully, you won't need to sell until the price has pumped up to be life changing money. Let's see where things go.
It was one of those trap mentality I had in my early crypto days; this idea of mooning. As you said, it's all about gaining dividend that can compound out something tangible rather than cross fingers on a gamble. Best wishes friend.
When you try to get somewhere too quickly, you can take the wrong path. Slow and steady wins the race.
I know you've been big into the $LEO ecosystem, so it's great to see you're being consistent, you're a true role model.
I'm personally not a huge fan of $TTSLA and I wouldn't call this an RWA, but whatever, everyone has to make their minds up about stuff.
Good luck going forward, I'll keep voting your posts 💪
It is a clever change from merely possessing tokens to actually making real money.
patience and persistence pay off
@jongolson ,I really admire how you advocate for HODL,for long term benefits and rewards.I will do my due diligence on these tokens you listed,SURGE,LEO,TTSLA and now RWA.
In addition I cherish how you also suggest compounding in terms of investing.
Slow and Steady approach is worth to try
That is a great gameplan to follow through
