So this is claimable every month? What happens when one doesn't? Does it eventually accumalate?

No, you don't claim GLX, it enters your Genesis League Wallet directly. You can only deposit or withdraw to/from hive-engine as you wish.

Ohhh I thought I heard owning staked SPS qualifies one for GLX token, I'll check that back again.

Yes, you are right. Here's how it goes:

You stake SPS in splinterlands wallet, you earn a year long GLX airdrop which is currently running.
Create a Genesis League Sports account and link to your Hive wallet to see your GLX balances so far.
You can now buy/sell your GLX on hive-engine.
