Yes, but the yeast is going to eat up that sugar to make the wine. How sweet it will end up I don't know yet. Thus far I've made dandelion wine, apple wine, blackcurrant wine, and rowan wine. This is the first time attempting beets.

That is going to be that pink beet wine.. added some berries, leaves and lemon for some flavour. ^^
