Ask yourself this, what IF Coinbase goes tits up, Binance goes tits up, Tether blows up etc. At the moment it would not surprise me, because for all of that to be squeaky clean in terms of what kind of stuff they are/have been pulling behind the scenes id be shocked. One by one they go belly up. Most of cypto is linked and exposed to one another than is healthy at all. I see bitcoin at 5k and alts near 0. I know i know i change my mind sometimes :D Cool for your friend but tell him not to count his chickens. Good that he booked the win to do what he needs to change his life.
