I don't own any pet at the moment but I like when people take good care of their pets. I always say that there's no point getting a point if the person won't take care of it.
With that said, that Automatic Feeder and water dispenser is very necessary in all home where there are pets. Some pet owners may get into a situation where they would have to be away from home for longer than supposed. In such cases, having an automatic feeder and water dispenser would prove to be a really worthy investment.
