Tech stocks selling off the most in months, but that was over shadowed by the sell off in crypto. At least to me and probably to users of this site.
Ethereum down as much as 25% and Bitcoin down 18%, it was a blood bath. I hope everyone kept safe.
For me, I use leverage and trade options so a 25% move can be dangerous. Thankfully I had plans in place anticipating a move like this, not that I wanted it or anticipating it to be now. But it is and will always be wise to plan for large falls.
With the weekly options expiring this morning I am currently fully invested and will just be using options to sell covered calls that will reduce my position as the market rises. Or if the market continues to fall I have no more cover puts outs so I will be able to withstand more blood and may even use leverage to buy more if an opportunity arises.
It all leaves me with a portfolio that is a bit easier to manage, at least for now. So I am hoping to finally have time to finish my latest youtube video on Binance Futures.
