We may be waiting into September. The Senate is scheduled to recess for a month (usual August recess) I believe (but am not 100%) offically starting today.

In the little bit of supplemental research I did for my article this morning, it's my understanding that the bipartisan support for this 'crap' is tenuous at best. I say let them keep arguing over the amendments and go into recess without passage. Maybe clearer heads will prevail come September. (Wait, did I just use clearer heads with respect to Washington - damn, what was I thinking)
