RE: LeoThread 2025-09-21 12:20

in LeoFinancelast month

Isn't it nice that $LEO is natively an Arbitrum token now? With Hive-Engine's history down for two days now, it's a good lens into how LEO is now on a fully decentralized, multi-billion dollar blockchain

There is no more glass ceiling.

Sort:

you think the database for Threads could ever go somewhere else? Cause after today, and if I lose this 500 bucks, I'm so done with Hive lol

As a database, I don't think many other chains can really compete with Hive (currently).

I still value Hive and would like INLEO to remain on it. Even though some whales including the person who actively runs the entire chain's infrastructure seem hellbent on forcing us out

Unless the censorship-resistant database functionality of Hive stopped working, I don't see a reason to leave tbh

From a financial POV, LEO had significant risk by being an HE token and it handicapped our potential growth. Now, this is gone because only heLEO remains. If something were to happen to Hive-Engine, we'd simply allow everyone stuck on HE to unwrap to native Arbitrum LEO and operations would continue like nothing happened

Yeah man, I hear ya.

Good to know about the worst case scenario.

Why are they forcing LEO out? I don't get thhe point. The chain is struggling with onboarding new users, and now they want to get rid of a large userbase?

Any smart project that wants to build on hive nowadays, should know that having multi-chain capability is a must.

You have to protect yourself

If we get stuck on HE we need to make time to unstake any LEO...

Hive is an awesome blockchain with huge potential. But I'm afraid the potentials may not become a reality. Smart project owners who build on Hive must think multi-chain.

My job doesn't earn me a lot. Perhaps just enough to keep my debt manageable. But I'm proud of it. If you look down or talk bad about what fetches me an honest income, we will pick quarrels.

Don't fret about the $ though, just make sure HE knows about it and they'll refund you (evnetually)

Hope so. I took screen shots of it all. Just in case. I've never had issues with getting funds though, so I give them the benefit of the doubt. When it works, it's great lol
