Onboarding new members and the problems encountered

in LeoFinance • 21 days ago

Greetings everyone! 🙌

This month, I explored a part of Inleo I hadn't delved into for a good period of time.
A few weeks ago, a friend messaged me on WhatsApp asking for help in guiding her school friends on how to onboard here (Hive) because she couldn't do it due to most of the registration channels being locked, and she wasn't familiar with the Inleo pattern of onboarding very well.

I'm someone who likes to render such help because many times I've tried organizing classes for my colleagues to join the Hive blockchain.
I had a group chat I wasn't using, so I gave her the group chat link to send to her friends so I could conduct that lecture in one place at a time. They joined, I dropped my Inleo registration link to them, and extensively explained to them to either use "SIGN UP with GOOGLE or X" depending on the accounts they have on their phones already. Most of them did that in a jiffy, while some of them took days before they could grasp the simple explanation. The ones that registered on the spot, I showed them how to get their keys, which are:

  1. Login with the sign-up pattern used (either via Google or X).
  2. Go to settings.
  3. Go to get keys.
  4. Enter a password of your choice and download the keys.

That's all!

Some did it, and it worked, while some encountered the error shown in the photo below, and it's so tiring.

Two of them were unable to log in, and we tried multiple methods to resolve it, but it didn't work. I even asked for their Twitter login details, which I used to log into their newly created account on my phone, but it still didn't work.

I kept asking myself, "What happened? Why is it refusing to log in?" I'm very sure they registered because their names were showing in my referral details, but logging in has proven difficult.

After multiple trials, the two ladies gave up, and as for me, I also got tired and gave up on the account. Maybe I need to try logging in on a computer (laptop), maybe it'll work.

Moving forward, this month has been something else on the Inleo frontend with uploading of photos. I remember making some complaints earlier this month when I wasn't on premium yet, and I got replies from people saying there's nothing wrong with photo uploads. I was surprised at that because I had seen a lot of people talking about the failing photo uploads. I just concluded that maybe it's because I'm not on premium, so when I gained premium, I tried it and saw that it's still the same.
I don't know how it happened, but I began to see a lot of people making such complaints too, even people that never believed in the problem earlier. Till today, picture upload is still giving me issues. If you've found a hack, let me know please.

Thanks for reading.

Yeah
I know some people that experience this
I think it was that time we were hurting bugs and when the new interface was released

Yeah, it happened then and it's still happening now.
They need to work on this otherwise it's going to stop prospects from coming.

Thank you for stopping by.

@fashtioluwa! Your Content Is Awesome so I just sent 1 $BBH (Bitcoin Backed Hive) to your account on behalf of @kingsleyy. (2/20)

I suffered it too but then I found a way and that is by typing and uploading the pics on another front end like peakd, then I copy it to patse on inleo before publishing. It works well

Yeaah, that's the only solution we are using currently or maybe it's working for outsiders
