As a student, writer, blogger, researcher or academician...

If you use Plagiarism checker to cross-check your work, then there is high chance that you plagiarized the work. Because if you are certain about it, no need to check it out!

It is not good to have plagiarism checker on hive. What are you checking, your brain or your work

I don't understand what you are saying though

Yep that is well put!

Honestly...

My two theses... around 80+ pages, I never used plagiarism checker to check it even for a page

If you wrote it and did not copy stuff, then no need to use one

Exactly... that is the basis of my argument.

In research, you would cite multiple sources... if you are confident enough that you cited all relevant sources, and the rest ideas are yours, then no need to check.

very true

The only other way I’ve seen it is if someone uses a lot of quotes, but if they’re citing them, then they should know not to worry

Yes.

But the truth is that if you want to quote someone, it is important to find out the source of the quote immediately so that you don't forget it.

The same happens when you are writing a school project, if you don't write it out

immediately, you may forget the page number or where you got it from.

That's why procrastination is not really good in things like that so that it doesnt cost you a lot
