Here are some few things about the Saxophone from my little point of view.

From my experience playing multiple instruments, the Saxophone is one of the simplest instruments to play. However, it requires consistency & practice to play

Professionally.

Although, something unique about the Saxophone is that it is a transposing instrument such that it doesn't play on the exact key of the Song (according to the piano), instead it plays on a different Key, but same on..

the piano.

For instance, if the piano is playing on Key C, the Alto Saxophone will play on key A. However, the sound they will produce will be the same. The Tenor Saxophone will also play on a different key, it'll play on key D.

But this isn't confusing, you know.

Remember, I said music is a science, and all these formulas are indeed helpful to help you enjoy music in its entirety.

Although many who are listening to music won't bother to know these...

technical sides of music. However, as musicians, we should know them so well.

Yea, so, like I said, it is a very easy instrument such that if you are able to pass the stage of learning to produce sound through the mouth piece, then...

the fingering placement of the saxophone won't be an issue.

But, yes, everything boils down to your sacrifice, consistency and time for practice.

Do you play saxophone too?
thougt it's only guitar and piano..

I know nothing about music, but it's nice to get out of this threadstorm knowing that Saxophone plays the same sounds as Piano, but it plays them at different keys.
