It's all about access to dollars
- In my time on Steemit and now Hive, I noticed that getting dollars into the ecosystem and out of the ecosystem is a challenge.
- When Blocktrades closed, Binance became unavailable, BIttrex closed and then the third one closed, whose name escapes me at this moment, I began feel like Hive was a victim of Chokepoint 2.0, but instead of banks strangle the offramos and onramps, so the project can't grow and the content creators can't eat their earnings, so they starve and move on...
- I see this as a threat to the survival of Hive because eventually many of us need to spend their earnings on food and shelter. The world is a rough place right now.
- So this Leodex is a spectacular achievement because we can trade our HIve into BItcoi, which has many, many more onramps and offramps then Hive, and suddenly we are able to remove profits easily and feed and shelter ourselves.
- This is also wonderful,because of the potential buyback program and because it seeks to bond the Hive, LEo, Maya and other Cacaoswap listed token communities, and as such we can all grow.
- A win win.
