"...at some point, there will only be a certain amount available."
But as long it is available (and I think it will stay available at least this week) buying it directly would still be better/cheaper, no matter what the price will be in a few months.
I see 4 reasons for buying LBI with Hive at the moment:
- People who don't even know you can buy it directly at the moment.
- People who want it immediately and not in "0-24 hours".
- People who are afraid that they get a "Sorry, we're out of tokens at the moment. You were to late. Here, you have your Leo back!" (fomo)
- Lazy People (2,08 Hive or 2,15 Hive? I don't care! It will be 5 Hive next year and buying via Leo is much more laborious!)
I think your point was reason 3 and a bit of 4?
I understand the manual process is cave man but i like it. We are 100% sure that each LBI issued is backed by 1 staked LEO. Im every anal about that. The issuing process will last until people stop buying them. Most people bought their bag's yesterday.
Issuing some on leoDEX could be a good way to issue a few thousand as a last push before hard capping, some goes for wLEO. We'll be needing some anyways and could save a little on fees. Save the pennyies and watch them turn into pounds (dollars)
