Vote results for the LBI hard-cap

Dear LBI holders & followers,

Last week we had the call for the vote on the hard-cap, where the details can be read in this post.

We had on this vote 51 participants out of the 176 eligible voters. We also had 6 votes from people that don't hold any LBI, but probably wanted to drop a comment to appear on a higher rank in the commentators' statistics. The 6 votes have been marked as invalid for the statistics.

Votes are counted as follows:

1/ 10-99 LBIs will earn a vote equal to 1
2/ 100-499 LBIs will earn a vote equal to 2
3/ 500-2,499 LBIs will earn a vote equal to 3
4/ 2,500-9,999 LBIs will earn a vote equal to 4

We had the option for YES, if we hard-cap the issue of the LBI tokens at 275000 tokens and NO, if the hard-cap shall not be set yet.

We had interesting comments and suggestions, where we will come back in a bit, but now to the results:

YES was the choice of the majority with 89 points, according to the LBI power. Following the vote, a hard-cap will be set as presented.

Proposals

The proposal session is open, and we will accept them until May 7th. Proposals must include all six sections as established in this post, and must use the tags: #may21lbigovproposal and #lbigov. English is preferred for proposals but not mandatory. If posting in another language, please use a translator. You can leave a comment with the proposal post on this post, for ease of searching.

As mentioned a few sentences above, we had a lot of good comments with suggestions and constructive criticism. Please use this opportunity to submit an official proposal, that shall be voted upon. We could give you some ideas, but where would be the fun in this.

If you have questions, leave a comment or drop by on our discord server..

Thank you

Sort:

It would have been nice if a higher percentage had voted, but if the pure investor or side-line sitter is willing to let the active community people take care of setting the trend I guess we get to set the trend.

Well of the people who cared, people voted for the hard capping. Its not like people can't get more LBI but it will have to come from the open market after it is capped.

It is weird that the invalids hold zero LBI as I thought it might of been people who held less than 10 but didn't know.

Damn you democracy...

I believe this will lead to a big gain in the secondary market. Hope to get a few more while they are going cheap.

I feel hard capping is important to limit the supply to the token. That produces scarcity and in theory it should increase the price of the token.

As far as I can see, you hold ZERO LBI, so you don't have a say in here. I see you voted on the other post as well.

I'm repeating myself, stop the comment spam campaign of yours. You're commenting on every post without even reading it, hoping to get an upvote! This is the fastest way to nowhere.

I think, the sarcasm was not felt by many.

It's highly likely. I really don't understand them. This user has exceeded every limit of decency. Picking a paragraph or a sentence out of the post and commenting without reading the rest ... Good thing I'm not the only one who has noticed. Just don't reward users like these.

I wanted to vote for every person who is posting a comment, but will stop.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

We have to consider twice who we are voting as it looks like some are making a sport out of commenting.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yes, but this week there is a slight change. The person in discussion backed off a little. Maybe we will see another one jumping in with random comments.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

don't let a few spammers stop you from upvoting comments. Btw does leo finance have a blacklist ?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

As far as I know they mute users, don't blacklist them.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I vote almost every comment still, and will vote higher as my stake is increasing. We can't call lists by colour any more. There is a mute list, where posts and comments from muted people are not listed.

Oh it deffo leads Somewhere, down the FLAG FAIRWAY!!

I delegated to Leo.voter maybe a little early 🤣

Still, there are some LBI being issued, doesn't it change the hardcap?

The capping won't happen overnight. There will be a date announced for that. So we can still buy LBI till the cap happens.

Well I hope we can all enjoy some nice gains once the hard cap is reached :P
