Voting upon weekly dividends

Dear LBI holders,

another 3 months have passed since we had our last vote on the payout of weekly dividends.

As announced in the latest post regarding the next proposal round, according to the roadmap, we will proceed this month with the vote on the dividend payout.

Should LBI postpone weekly dividends for another 3 months?

Please comment either...

  • YES
    or
  • NO

Voting for this will last 1 week from the upload:

  • Results will be uploaded the day after voting finishes
  • If YES wins, we continue to reinvest 100% of earnings and vote again in 3 months
  • If NO wins, we start paying dividends from the 1st of August

If yes wins, we can review our position in 3 months. The longer the dividend payment is held off, the stronger the foundation is for the project, as everything is reinvested.

If no wins, we will pay out LBIs first weekly dividend on the 1st of August. That would be 50% of earnings to be split up between token holders, 40% going to reinvestment and 10% going to the @spinvest-leo for @@@silverstackeruk's services.

Voting Weights

LBI governance voting is based on weighted voting tiers dependent on your LBI holding. We have 5 tiers ranging from 10 tokens worth 1 vote to 10k+ worth 5 votes.

1/ 10-99 LBIs will earn a vote equal to 1
2/ 100-499 LBIs will earn a vote equal to 2
3/ 500-2,499 LBIs will earn a vote equal to 3
4/ 2,500-9,999 LBIs will earn a vote equal to 4
5/ 10,000+ LBIs will earn a vote equal to 5

Please keep in mind that only the votes of LBI holders are valid.

Thank you

I go with no since we're already hardcapped.

I know building the account is probably the best way to go, but I do feel like LBI holders need to get rewarded with paying a dividend. Even when you know that the dividends will only be bigger if they get postponed another 3 months.

I know it will slow down the growth for LBI ... but with a 250K leo balance right now. I feel like it's time to start paying divs. So I vote for NO this time.

I'm ready to start collecting the divs. Leo is cheap now and I'm not sure it will be in three months so I think I'd rather start getting them in my own account. It's not like LBI isn't getting any new tokens. It's still getting 40%. The original intent was to pay dividends and while I agreed with postponing in order to grow our base, I feel like we've done that in spades over the last 6 months. I understand both sides but, like I said, I feel like it's time to start collecting.

So, I vote NO.

YES

I still think building a base is more important in the long run.

I'd like to see our position grow a little more. This pullback is a good time to accumulate, I vote YES.

Yes! Please postpone.

I'm going for NO as it will bring more liquidity to market for LB tokens, as dividends will start paying out others people who haven't been in LBI would love to join if they are sweet. Also, we have been accumulating for 6 months, original plan was start paying dividends at start.

I know we can get bigger dividends if we wait, but Early investors need to get some revenue as It already takes a few years to catch up with initial investment with dividends.

I don't mind either way but because I know accumulating now is the better option and because I have to vote, I vote YES.

I hold LBI and don't know how can I check dividends? Can you please help

I'm not sure, if I understand you. There are no dividends being paid out yet.

Thinking of @alex-van's example of the marshmellow experiment, I'm voting YES.
