Thats interesting that you wrote about this, topic. It was only recently, maybe two weeks or so that I've been thinking that I need to learn what volume is in trading. I'm still a bit confused but it a little more clear

The way she tries to explain it that there are insiders like market makers who see all the supply and demand all the time and they tend to manipulate the markets to their advantage. The only way we can see if market moves are genuine or fake is looking at the volume, because they can't manipulate the volume. Significant rises in price should be backed by significant rise in volume and small rise should have small volume. How high or low these volume bars are relative to the volume bars themselves, and these bars are compared to each other in determining what is average volume, high or low.
I don't completely believe that there are some who are constantly manipulating the markets all the time. But I can see how volume can help in identifying strength or weakness of the price action.
