They need to do something like this on Hive.
Look at this:
That is why we need to do something differently. Hive offers a solution to this in terms of the gas fees. We truly need to set something up where this can be done rather easily. Still need infrastructure.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I don't think the high fees scale with the crowdfunding approach. It's one reasons why I avoid ETH.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
One of the problem of ETH is that the fees are so huge that You need to move a lot of money if you want the fees to be lower than 20% of you total transaction.
Fees are not always bad, but that huge is a problem, it let everyone with less that hundreds of $ out of the thing
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The problem is that ETH is also big money. Those who are still using it also think that the gas fees are high but they are making way more profits compared to the amount they spend on fees. Otherwise they wouldn't do that transaction.

I had to rent three cards, but I finally made it to Silver III in Splinterlands today. It was a very good day: Silver III; 1000 LEO staked and delegated; and, over 1000 POB staked and delegated.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Congratulations on your milestones.
Oh is there a POB stake and delegation service for passive rewards? I didn't know that there was any.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
All my POB is delegated to @brofi.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ah I don't bother because I still prefer to grow my POB stake. However that might be a good option in the future.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yep, and I think this is the only one since POB don't want to have other ways that POB content or curation to earn POB and Brofi is a good solution for that !
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That IS a good day! Especially the LEO part.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Great job man! I only got to Silver once with the aid of my guild but I'm working my way up again. Just need to take care of some personal stuff before I have time to spend there again
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Renting cards is a good way to advance in Splinterlands without making a huge investment. Congrats on growing your stake in POB and LEO. I'm growing mine bit by bit, as I know it really helps with curation.
I made it to Silver III once, then ran into some very good players, and got smacked down to Bronze. Splinterlands is fun, and it's only going to get better!

Hive new ATH $1.58
Currently trading at $1.46
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It still is at $1.45. Seems to be a strong move for now. We will see how long buying pressure keeps up.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah. I woke up with $1000 more in my account and I thought it would last only few hours and I would loose at least $800 of it before the night but it only lost $40 since this morning for me !
The only pump that last strong like that for a whole day !
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Since the new ATH of $1.58, there was a continued attempt by bears to push it down with massive volume above 200K. But Hive held nicely and found firm support at $1.40 with minimal volume around 50K. Currently moving sideways within the $1.50-1.40 band.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Staying around that for so long is really great ! And we've been for pretty long around $1 too before that. It would probably don't go beside this level
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I wonder how this would go over accross the pond Will Sweden get their way?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
They might. I am not sure of EU politics and how much pull a small country like Sweden has. However, if they make enough noise others might join in the fray.
Of course, it would be a mistake for them just like the Chinese. But it will benefit non-EU countries along with the US.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It generally depends what new German government would do, because in EU it is Germans who call the shots. And the Greens are part of that government - and even when in opposition, they forced Merkel to abandon nuclear power (with disastrous effects). The only thing that can moderate that is business-friendly FDP party being the part of Scholz's coalition.

I was stating on Twitter that Bitcoin took a lot of arrows over the years while the rest of the industry was able to stand behind in its shadow. This allowed for growth while they werent looking.
It is the under the radar projects that will surprise them. Hive is one of them.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I can confirm they weren't looking in my area! I just got back after being out for a bit, and saw that we finally got our first Bitcoin/crypto ATM here. After being called a dumb, crazy, nutjob back in 2010 for believing in crypto, it's good to see us finally join the rest of the world in the 21st century!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Seeing what others cannot.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Bitcoin been the king of all crypto has face alot of criticism and still going strong and this room for other project like develop to develop.
I agree with you.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I agree. It's the same with most companies before they get big enough but it also adds in some risk factors. However do you think we could be threatened by the institutions once HIVE gets big enough?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
REMINDER!!!
Get your #CANDIES because, if you dont, you will regret it until your dying days.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Candies grabbed! I'll try not to miss a day ever again
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
For the rest of your life? That is a lot of pressure. You sure you can handle it? 😁
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hahaha yea that's a tough one but I gotta dream big if I want to become a candy whale someday!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You are a rising star in the #CANDIE world.
Hall of Fame potential.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Mission accomplished! 60 candies returned to base! :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The future generations of your family will thank you.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Got 'em.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
20 candies gotten today. I try my best not to miss a day since I like to hoard my candies.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Aha, I never made a single full week for that. Not sure I'm gonna make it at any time But I'll grab it now !
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
HIVE steadily moved up throughout the day. Sitting at $1.25.
This is a nice run that it is on. Not sure it will be sustained, so enjoy it while it lasts.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't know if we can call this a "pump" much longer. If you zoom out you'll see that it has gone from 20 cents in June to where it is today making higher lows all along the way. This has now become a "trend" in my mind and I don't think it's unreasonable to see it continue to push higher. In fact, from a TA standpoint, it would actually be somewhat surprising if it didn't keep going. I don't have all the tools that measure these movements but I would be very interested to see someone put up those bands (the name escapes me right now) that show the 1.6 and the 2.0 and the 2.6, etc. lines. I think there's a lot of room to the upside yet, both short-term and long.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I was just thinking "Damn, we could see $2.00 by the end of the year" or more...
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The way it's going, we might see it by the end of the week. lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It just broke $1.50. I know they say it's South Korea, but what I'd like to know is why? Somebody there have an inside track that we don't, or is it just a mirror of the old tulip bulb mania? Either way, it's interesting to watch!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea, I've said this before but I have to say it again that $2 Hive would make my Christmas a lot better lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is probably true although a lot of the volume is still coming out of Korea. We are not seeing across the board participation.
It also seems there is more HIVE ending up on exchanges. This is also something to watch.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's nice indeed. Hopefully I'll be in a better position to buy back even more if it drops. Way too much stuff going on to miss on an opportunity to get some more HIVE
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Agreed. That is why those who keep at it throughout the tough times end up coming out much further ahead.
Many do not understand that and, when the price heads up, suddenly try to jump back in.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It actually hit $1.40 for a bit before dropping down to $1.34 currently. I hope it keeps going!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It might. We can never tell what the Koreans have planned.
Either way, it is fun while it lasts. At some point, I expect a pullback because I am not sure we are to the point where the massive run based upon development starts.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I hope it keeps going and maybe we might actually see 2$ hive.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's $1.55 right now and I am going to sleep soon. I wonder how much of this is due to the hype caused by airdrops and games.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
HIVE went a bit further after you wet to bedL
Source: CoinGecko via hive.ausbit.dev
It was at USD 1.450 when I took the screen cap a little while ago. HIVE even reached an ATH last night/today.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is something to consider but I am not sure that is pushing things higher but, then again, who knows.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lets see them seek answers from Hive on HBD.
The regulators are going to help Hive in so many ways. We are going to stand out over the next year or two as something they cannot touch.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea those centralized stablecoins will probably be hit by the government. All you need to do is look at Tether but I don't think they will be going away ever if things play out.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's true. Once HBD goes truly stable it has the potential to become one of the best stables around.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Outside the reach of the regulators. There is nothing they can do about it. We need some things to fall into place and to be done at the blockchain level but there is a good chance we can use it to leverage the entire ecosystem higher.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hbd is offers one of the best apy, which in my opinion is one the best at the moment
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I am not sure it is the best APY but it has a rather low risk and certainly does provide a strong return without any 3rd party counter risk.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It will be pointless for any hivers not have hbd in bear market because it is easy to convert to hive easy to use in hive ecosystem
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
While HBD is certainly attractive and low risk, UST on Terra's Anchor Protocol is at 20% APY. My pick for the better of the two though is still HBD.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Terra's anchor is good but I trust hbd savings and hive network the more.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I heard good things about that one too
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Had a great show with MarkyMark on #CryptoManiacs today. When it goes up, be sure to catch it.
I think it might be live on the podcasting applications.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Looking forward to it! I spent most of my day outdoors looking for a new place to rent but I'll make sure to catch it as soon as possible.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You will enjoy it. There was a lot covered during the show.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Here is the link to the cryptomaniacs rerun if people missed the live show.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
They are not going to be able to focus upon HBD.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
HIVE pumping. At $1.41 at this moment. Will it hit a new all time high.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
There was a moment there where the market cap was above $500 million.
It didnt hold but it was interesting to see. So many possibilities for Hive long-term. The fact we are dealing with so much development means that, in my view, many billions in market cap is pretty much guaranteed.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
All I want is that these developments should take us to another level, we are already seeing that.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I agree. When some of them start to roll out, we are going to see some massive shifts in the way people view Hive.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
$5 billion is where it should be in the not-so-distant future. 10x from here. Low to mid-teens in price. It's definitely worth that much...
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You may need to go back and talk about your "network effects" again. Hive is building one hell of a giant network right now and it's still just getting started.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It was in my morning post a bit. But yes we are seeing the formation of a Distributed Network State here.
That means the financial/economic impact should be enormous.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hitting all high is inevitable at the moment
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
A lot of volatility in the commodities markets. It is really hard to get a grasp on where things want to go. There are a lot of supply chain issues still (some intended like oil). However, the markets seem a bit tired.
We will have to watch the demand. China is a heavy consumer of commodities. The data out of there over the next couple months will tell a big story.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
They did release 50 million barrels but that is only like 2.5 days worth of supply. So I think the demand and speculation will still drive prices up.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah the overall impact of the release, in terms of total market, is not a lot.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The weekly Blocktrades development update is out.
He is excited about the result for the week which means we should be also.

This former United States Trust Territory is also getting into the crypto game:

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
This is a bit off-topic but I'm asking around everywhere:
Not long ago I heard on STEMGeeks about a new community on HIVE that focuses on coding but I can't find it for the life of me. Does anyone know what is it called?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well as it turns out it was called Hive Coding LOL
I don't know why but the PeakD search was not finding it before... All good now
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Very complicated name.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I know right?! Who would have thought of that lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Walmart getting into the drone delivery business, at least in Arkansas.
This is the future starting to appear in small chunks.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I know they are using drones but is it autonomous or does it require a human to control it?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
HIVE hanging around the $1.45 area.
This is impressive, especially for the market being flat. With such an extended run, it is bound to get on some radars.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well I am not sure what to say about this but it does show the innovation of some people.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
This guy is a big Tesla fan but not so much for Lucid. He believe the later is a total scam.
Interesting video negating the claim they are getting the range with a 118 kWh battery.
I dont follow Lucid close enough to know one way or another.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't follow Lucid that much but I tend to avoid it. Then again I don't touch the EV market as much since there is just way too many stocks in that space.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Wall Street is really in love with Bitcoin. Morgan Stanley reported they added 2.64 million shares of GBTC during the 3rd quarter.
Anyone who thinks this is going away is mistaken.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The Senate is going to start getting serious about Stablecoins.
This is something we need to use in the push for Hive Backed Dollar.
We have a nice option in HBD.
