Gaining on the next million level.

You have to love Hester Pierce. She is probably the greatest advocate for cryptocurrency within the government.

Gensler's stance on a Bitcoin spot ETF is ridiculous. I hope Grayscale sues them and soon.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

She's great! Loved what she said.

Biggest advocate we have and one of the few who has some common sense pertaining to this.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

May his kind increase!

We are starting to see layoffs in housing related industries. This started with the mortgage market and is starting to spread. Redfish is now laying off a bunc.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

As the industry gets weaker I expect to see blackrock accumulating alot more property.

Over the next few years the OCP Scenario will play out worldwide, then we see what happens afterward.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Ocp?

OCP is "OmniConsumer Products", the corporate villain on RoboCop. While it made the technology used for law enforcement-- not just the title character but also the bulkier ED-209 machines-- it also controlled Detroit to such a degree that Detroit depended on OCP for nearly everything.

The subplot for RoboCop was the rampant crime which provided the need for RoboCop in the first place. A good chunk of Detroit was going to be rebuilt as "Delta City," but OCP wasn't in possession of the territory. So crime was used as a way to gain control of this territory. Once this area was vacated, OCP could acquire the territory at dirt-cheap prices. After that, then construction of Delta City could begin. OCP controlled both sides of the situation: criminal and law enforcement. One of the criminals gives away the game when RoboCop records him saying that "OCP runs the cops!"

Each time I had seen RoboCop in the past, this subplot seemed outrageous. After 2020, I kept remembering this subplot from the movie. Now the subplot is well within the realm of possibility.

Paul Verhoeven really had a knack for prophetic visions in his science fiction films. Starship Troopers predicted a lot of post-9/11 developments.

80s kid here. I know all about robocop. I just didn't make the connection at first. But yeah, it's called predictive programming.

Another one! Damn glad to meet you! Even though the connection between what OCP was trying to accomplish and what was taking place was obvious in the movie, it didn't hit me until 2020 and 2021 that this is what was taking place in real life but without the benefit of a cyborg like Alex Murphy.

RoboCop 2 shows what happens when the political correct orthodoxy of the day is programmed into a cyborg like Alex Murphy, and the results are exactly what we would expect them to be. This I knew even back then. The obviousness of the sequel makes the foreshadowing of the original movie-- by decades-- even more disturbing to me today.

Yep, a good indicator where the economy is going, sadly.

Here is a good video about the real estate market.

Might be some inside 411 based upon what someone in the business is seeing.

Also talks about the car business and the demand for used cars dropping off a cliff.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Thanks, will have a look in the morning.

LF on my iPad isn’t updating since 7 hours. Tough to find new posts hehehe maybe more have that.
And it is rather quite lately… I know I’m busy. But still here everyday.

Good night 😴

Hive is always quiet when the price is low. That just means there is more to go around if you are loud. 😆

Isn't that the normal response?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Sadly it is… hope it picks up a bit hehehe 🤓 more fun and more to do 🤩 I mean the engaging bit.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Ooo I am loud hahaha 🤣 lol all here, everyday… never skip a day… going around everywhere 😎🤓😉 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

There is a problem. It might be Scotbot.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Ok… thought so as I tried, but just couldn’t see any new posts.
Morning 👋🏻☀️

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Turns out it might be something with Leofinance. They were doing updates and it seemed to cause issues.

Works on mobile from what I read.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Lots of updates happening lately. But all so worth it.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

So interesting this video @taskmaster4450le thanks for that. Exactly what I thought is happening.
The real estate, the car industry and what people can buy. I think we are already in a recession for about 2 months.
The housing market will crash further. The car market for sure.
People just can’t spend their normal household spending anymore. Everything is so much more expensive. So they buy groceries with credit cards.
It is so wrong in many ways, but for many the only way to “survive”. Not sure the government will and can bail them out.
This is everywhere around the world happening, not just in the US.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yeah. give it another 6-9 months and people will not be talking about "inflation" like they are today. Instead it will be rising unemployment and how people are losing hours at work.

The switch from inflation to disinflation to deflation can happen very quickly.

People need to be aware that deflation is not a good thing either.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yes, those will be the headlines to come for sure.
People hadn’t recovered from job loss due to the virus, still many unemployed. More to come now. It will be a mess.

Some don’t realise it can switch that quickly.
Looks like the society needs a reset on many levels.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Deflation is no good in a debt-based economy such as ours is. When the economy is based on sound money, then deflation is what we want since it's also an indicator of productivity.

With total global debt levels at unsustainable levels-- and no way to pay off that debt ever-- it looks as if we are witnessing a controlled demolition of the global economy. It could have been triggered by the crisis in the repo market going back to October 2019, and we know what's happened since then.

It's in hindsight where things begin to make sense for us, but by then it's usually too late for us. Without getting into any theories about who's trying to control what, it's safe to say that a number of agendas are being implemented simultaneously under cover of economic turmoil. "Public health" has been recruited to be used as one such tool as never before. All that's left is war, and that is right on our doorsteps.

A technical analyst and pseudonymous user Twitter Rekt Capital anticipates BTC's price to consolidate for several months at the 200-week moving average. Source

I like that Darvas box!

It is highly possible. Many feel the risk off trade is on until we see the liquidity issue in money pass. Since the Fed is tightening, the market will take that as liquidity is leaving. Therefore, we are on a downward trend in all risk assets, including crypto.

We could see this go through the rest of the year before turning heading into 2023.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Well, I see it as good news. Whatever scenario will unfold in the coming months, no problem with me. I will just do the usual things I do, adding here and there in my selected tokens.

BTC is the kind of bomb they want in Africa.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Where in Africa? Be specific

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Have you clicked the source? It's a tweet by @CryptoHubKE implying the strategic role of CAR for the entire continent.

No, I didn't click the source.
Just replied because I made a post about the adoption sometime ago.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I got it. Thanks anyhow for your reply.

Sure...

Interesting data from this link:

  • BTC is down by almost 70% from its all-time high of $68,789 reached in November 2021
  • The recent crypto market downturn has harmed all digital assets and resulted in a total market capitalization loss of $370 billion over the course of a single week.
  • CAR is one of the poorest countries in the world, with a GDP of about $2.4 billion.

It's the wild wild west, how things are unveiling with not certainty of when change would come.

CAR intends to change that narrative after it adopted BTC as its legal tender but the bear market struck.

The fire in southern Spain is still not extinguished… only controlled at the moment. Humidity of 20% isn’t helping either.
So far 4866 hectare is lost…
It started 8 June.

Praying for rain so doesn’t help as we are not expecting any until October. The south is turning slowly into a desert the next 20 years… if you look closely what is happening. Time to move out 🤓

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Omo, it's crazy. Rain was non-stop over here yesterday. Fire is really causing damage.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yes… the areas that need some rain, don’t have rain. And vice versa.
But hey, that’s life.

It has caused lots of damage, they still haven’t said what caused it or what they think.
Hope it will be over soon. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It's simply how life is, we don't usually get what we want when we want it.

Fingers crossed still.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Exactly like that.

Thanks a lot @boscohage 😁

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Oh my... that's really sad... hope the rain will pour down soon.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

We don’t get any rain until October unfortunately… @ifarmgirl.
But the firefighters are doing such a great job, they are getting there 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Seem the desktop is having issues with the recent feeds still.

There was an announcement within the Leo Discord. They are working on it.

For all those on mobile, you are looking good.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That's why. I have been visiting DCMLB yesterday but didn't see posts so I thought you missed a day :)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It seems the recent posts are now back and in order.

All is right in the Leofinance world, at least until the next update.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Great news…
I do see my notifications now.
