Yeah it seems like a switch was flipped last night (for us at least) and everyone decided to make it a big day.
We are getting a few more people in here which is good. The numbers increasing will allow us to really make a statement.
Hell I might through out a 1,000 comment day here in a few weeks. LOL

leo market talk is getting harder and harder to load as the comment number increase, I hope that won't become the limiting factor

If it gets to the point where it is intolerable, we will start to do a couple of posts.
That will split the totals up but will allow for ongoing conversation throughout the day. People can simply jump back and forth.
For example, if we are consistently pushing the 500 level, many start a new post around 200. Then we can put new content up on the second one as people still engage in the first.
But you are right, this a limitation to using the comments in this manner.
I would guess that is something that Khal and the developers ran into.

I was thinking about the 500 mark as well even before reading your reply :) anyway even at 500 comments per post I still think the loading times wouldn't be unbearable, especially since most people would reply to comments instead of loading the whole thing. But it would be a bit daunting for new people to jump in.

Yeah I am not sure of the number but there is a point, if we consistently grow to it, that we will need to do something.
The fact that we had so few 500 comment days and not too many 400 days means it isnt essential at the moment. But if we do see an increase. we will have to think of ways around it.
