I have run games on Hive. I printed the 1st NFT's with the Steem-engine smart contract (outside of SPL). long before Hive-engine.
I am well versed on this topic from the developer side and always open to chatting.
I wish all projects good luck but let's be honest about what they are.

Plus I would argue the custom_jsons they post are meaningless. They should just stick with Hive for authentication and talk about how valuable that is for projects.
That would bring more value to the chain than the DB of nothing custom_json thing they have going on.
Hive authentication is very valuable, just ask any network admin who had to run that stuff. I hear it can be a nightmare.
Yeah well people really do not understand the most basic of platforms, networks, or what any of this is. That is why you never hear much talk of taking on Amazon, Uber, or other digital platforms who grasp that stuff.
The answer always seems more users and better quality content.

it has its own databases
It writes some custon_json's to the Hive Layer 1 but everything else is done on its servers.
for the longest time is was 100% centralized and myself and others get saying this.
then they started to run some nodes for processing transactions.
The nature of those nodes and what is and isn't on a centralized database is still not clear. (maybe it is now but i have not looked in quite awhile. I have washed my hands of their project)
VSC and what we are building will actually settle on Hive layer 1 in human readable form. So it is more Hive than something running on a side-chain.
Feel free to use what you want but our goal has always been to educate people on the difference.

There is no standard and each dapp does it differently.

Hello, this time I drew the Healer of the forest from the game #holozing was a great challenge for me, because getting to the exactness of the original. To start creating the sketch of my drawing, I use the marker tool where I outlined the basic shapes and general composition of the character, since having a good one helps us establish the proportions, perspective and balance of the image. In this type of outline we can highlight the traits and characteristics of the character. In this sketch where I worked first was his head, I worked carefully with each element of the drawing, from the hair, the branch accessory that he has in his hair, very important elements in this drawing, since he is the healer of the forest.
In the next step I gave life to my drawing through colors, first I looked for my primary colors, looking for the colors to match the original character, in his eyes, eyebrows, skin and hair, testing my color palettes and placing them dark green, to the shirt, later I will adjust those colors to the original.
Then the color went to his inside shirt and the collar of his jacket, at the same time working on the shadow, I like to work on the lighting and shadow of the drawing at once to see the result of the colors and effect at once. which gives this step even realism.

Saying HE is Hive is like claiming Lightning is the Bitcoin network. It isnt.
HE does post some custom JSONs to Hive, that is about it other than using Hive as its authentication system.

I think I've been using Inleo on Hive Keychain for about 6 months on my phone. Pretty sure it was available before that though.
I used to use it all the time , then it stopped, and today they told me I could use, and right enough it was there on the login page .. weird

Many westerners probably dont know, but Rwanda is doing some remarkable work and has a bright future. Only thing that might be an issue is their democracy isn't really a democracy yet.

However, Kagame has done some great steps to transform Rwanda into a safest country among other African nations, the way he pulled Rwanda from war and conspiracies I think he should be credited for. His background is from military, but you know he has a very strong reputation in African world.

If Rwanda could go from conducting genocide in the 1990s to being the safest country in Africa in 2024, that is definitely great news to be celebrated. Combine this with El Salvador doing something similar, and it shows the rest of the world that such an achievement is possible.

Creation Process: Drawing the Holozing Healer
Hello, this time I drew the Healer of the forest from the game #holozing was a great challenge for me, because getting to the exactness of the original. But I was able to do it with several hours of work, without falling, and continue moving forward. When we set higher and higher #goals, our growth will bear fruit. To start creating the sketch of my drawing, I use the marker tool where I outlined the basic shapes and general composition of the character, since having a good one helps us establish the proportions, perspective and balance of the image. In this type of outline we can highlight the traits and characteristics of the character. In this sketch where I worked first was his head, I worked carefully with each element of the drawing, from the hair, the branch accessory that he has in his hair, very important elements in this drawing, since he is the healer of the forest.
In the next step I gave life to my drawing through colors, first I looked for my primary colors, looking for the colors to match the original character, in his eyes, eyebrows, skin and hair, testing my color palettes and placing them dark green, to the shirt, later I will adjust those colors to the original.

Then the color went to his inside shirt and the collar of his jacket, at the same time working on the shadow, I like to work on the lighting and shadow of the drawing at once to see the result of the colors and effect at once. which gives this step even realism.
Then create that beautiful shamrock found on your jacket. That accessory that will help the healer heal his creatures, because each healer's accessories are important and influential at the time of healing, increasing health and mana. Although there is no description as such in the presentation of this healer, but I imagine that it will have a use within the game.
