Fantastic Four First Steps might help the MCU finally break their unfortunate Oscars streak, Marvel has been shut out of major Oscar categories for years now despite making billion dollar movies, Black Panther got Best Picture nomination back in 2018 but since then nothing, Fantastic Four has a real shot though because they got a stacked cast with Pedro Pascal Vanessa Kirby Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss Bachrach plus its set in the 1960s which gives it that period piece vibe that Oscar voters love, if the movie leans into the retro aesthetic and tells a genuine emotional story alongside the superhero stuff then yeah it could get some nominations, but honestly MCU movies have struggled with awards lately so we will see.
