Hive Engine requires four steps: Deposit coin, trade HBD.SWAP to Hive.SWAP, trade Hive.Swap to BTC.Swap, and then finally withdraw BTC. Watch out! There is a minimum of a million satoshis in the case of Bitcoin on Hive Engine. While the fees are cheaper, you end up getting a lot fewer satoshis than with V4v because V4v is a central-party exchange that adheres to the exchange rate of Coin Gecko. Where as with Hive-engine it is peer-trader to peer-trader and the spreads are insanely huge.

This is not financial advice but, don't use Hive-Engine Exchange to trade Hive Dollars with market orders. You can put up a limit order and possibly wait forever but if you're in a hurry V4v is a much better option. An analysis of trading from Hive into Bitcoin using the two systems could reach another conclusion involving Hive Engine. I doubt it though as the admin of V4v doesn't seem to play favorites between Hive and the Hive backed dollar.
Limits
The limits of Hive-Engine is a minimum of 0.01 BTC for withdrawal. These days, this is approaching $1,000. If you're rich enough to think this is not restrictive please send some Hive or SWAP.BTC @leprechaun via Hive-Engine. The V4v limits are 250,000 sats on the top end which is (0.002,5 BTC) and at the lower end 500 sats. Five hundred satoshis is 5 millionths of a bitcoin. So many zeroes: 0.000,005 BTC.
