I just got a monocular that I can attach to a phone for close up shots, so I was testing how long it took me to set it up upon first sighting a bird. Not even close. The bird was gone by the time I opened my bag. :D

I can't wait for warmer weather in the spring, so I can properly go out and photograph them.
At 37 deg C today most birds are in hiding from the heat! Shoulder seasons are best for bird photography.
