Splinterlands created a second layer for themselves through Hive Engine. Right now we have no second layer that is tied into the base chain in a decentralized manner. 3speak is working on something, we will see how it goes.
The point is that our devs, finally, after half a decade need to release SMTs and community tokenization.
This isnt Hive success what happened to Splinterlands. Its @aggroed and @yabapmatt success. Success in spite of inaction and slow development during the last 5 years.. We just benefit from it.
