Many players have limited earnings to rent cards, I usually pay my rentals from pool earning since all my real earning goes to staked SPS. It is hard to progress in the game if such market exists. The greed should not come first.

To earn splintershards, you have to pay a one time fee of $10 (spellbook). It has always been pay to play. I've definitely gotten a good ROI. Imagine the price of splintershards going to $0.10. I think it'll go higher than that. #crypto
I agree. Hard times, and now even have to pay to play in Modern which isn't that much still...
