After new reciprocal tariffs on consumer goods, rump steak beef might cost over $60 in the US, currently a kilo selling at a price of $28 approximately.

Sort:

Oh! Would it be the impact of tariffs from countries the beef's food will be imported from? And not apply to 100% US grown & fed beef?

Yes, Beef such as rump steak is imported from Australia, so it will likely be hit by new tariff.

Not on US produces / products such as Angus beef is home grown stuff.
