That's not necessarily a problem. Precedent exists for older designs to be implemented in the future once the technology came into existence. After WWI there was a "flying wing" design which wasn't practical. It inspired the the B-2 bomber.
I agree, but the way Trump promoted it felt like something alienish and does not exist even before. He just put a sales pitch to attract customers and he made some already. 😀
He tend to be a promote and a salesman for everything he talks about; that's just who he is. As president, he sees his job as selling the US to the rest of the world. In that sense, he's like all other heads of state promoting their states.
