Actually it had nothing to do with the drop in sales. That was due to the shutting of the Model Y lines during the transition.
DOGE is getting to the point where it only requires a bit of attention from Elon. Plus his 132 day term runs out next month.
But, I think being in the government does not give him an edge over business as he expected, rather made more enemies than friends.
