It's like 2017 all over again. People are talking about Ethereum overtaking Bitcoin's market cap this year.

The slow rise of Ethereum may reach Bitcoin, but the flippening of any crypto against Bitcoin was inevitable. Bitcoin is aging, and in the technological world Bitcoin is the great great grandfather of Cryptocurrencies. The coin maybe won't die, but its downfall from grace will soon come. That doesn't mean that the coin won't reach $100k one day, but its market capitalization won't be number one in the next few years (I think).
At this point I think ETH has a coinflip chance of flipping BTC for at least a week or two.
If ETH goes x2 from here with BTC stagnant it will be nipping at the heels.

Ethereum has all the chances to take dominance from BTC if it resolves gas issues and successfully implements sharding in coming years. Although BNB is in a condition where Ethereum was in the previous bull market.
