Hive Savings vs. Liquid Hive vs. HBD Savings

Some questions popped up maneuvering through my wallet:

1. Are Hive Savings only for withdrawing Hives?
2. Why is there no APR on Hive Savings? Is there?
3. Can i withdraw Liquid Hives?
4. If there are no interest rates on Hive Savings vs. the very attractive
   20% APR from HBDs, what is the real use of Hive Savings?

The Hive savings are mainly a safety feature. In case you have a bigger sum of liquid Hive, for whatever reason, you can put them in savings and lock them away. In case your account got hacked, due to the 3 days binding period, you would have (hopefully) enough time to restore the ownership of your account (or change the keys if possible). With liquid Hive the thief could grab them instantly.

But I can only withdraw Hives from Hive savings?
Why am I not able to transfer the Hive savings back to liquid Hives or Hive Power? Am I?
The wallet offers only "withdraw" from savings...

The "withdraw" means just that after 3 days you will get back the Hive as liquid, nothing else. After that you can e.g. power them up.
