Hi there, Leo Finance & Hive,
as the son of a Venetian i learned about
trading & business early, but it wasn't always
"comfortable".π
Let me give you an example of what i am talking about.
In a city close to Venice where my Italian grandparents
and my aunt moved to, my aunt was working in a store for
electronics. One of the biggest shopping streets with
hundreds of shops.
(I have no Photos of that year & example/case i am
describing here, but i show you some Venice footage from
2006, when the world was still "ok")
Shopping one day, i think i was like 12-13 years,
i was "having a look" a little by myself with a little
money from my Dad, who was chilling in my aunts store.
I found a T-Shirt that i liked in a shop at least 20 shops
distant from my aunts work, bought it (normal) &
met later with my Dad again.
Like i said, the T-Shirt store was far away from being
the neighboring store or something.
Did you ask for the discount!? Hai chiesto per il sconto!?
Hhhhmmm...no,Dad. π
Dad: Ok, let's go back to that store. You know your aunt works
in the "same street" (like i described above).
He probably could have said,your aunt works on the same planet.π
It was time to get some money (back).π
God knows, i was feeling so uncomfortable going back to that store.
But it was an important lesson:
Always trade! Never accept the price they give you.
So back in that store, my Dad tells the woman working there:
You know my sister working down the road, and the boy did
forget to ask for the discount...
Woman: Ah ok, she opens the cash register & puts money
in my Dads hand.
That memory/story stuck with me
Just imagine, the business was done.
99% of all times it would have been too late to
ask for a discount, or change the price.
These are "(Italian) Balls" that can put money
in your hand. Try it yourself, once you overcome
that uncomfortable feeling of asking...it is always
worth trying. It works 95% of all times and gives you...
A Good/Better Trade.
But it's better to ask for that discount
before you pay...haha..π
I was like 12 years old back then like
i mentioned, and i learned a lot since those times.
In other words: Whatever i buy, i doesn't "taste",
if i pay too much, no matter how much money i hold.
If i want a "good taste", i want a good price/business.
Period.
And what is the good feeling concerning Cryptos?
Buy low, sell high, you done know.π
On the weekend i managed to catch an all time high
of a certain coin (not BTC) and sell a little.
Seeing now that this coin fell like 20-25% right
after i sold, gives me that satisfaction.
I caught the highest point of 2021 until now.π
Plus i hold some more, for even better trades.
Haha,15 years ago still with the wider HipHop pants, but elegant...π and back then already close to the Leos ;)
