Basically, I've been the only one using the tag for my threads, except for one or two persons that I used it some time ago.
So I can't really put a figure on the level of engagement.

Yes, it's still not well known. I haven't really thought of creating awareness for it. And yes, it would be a good idea to do so.
That would be wonderful. I'm sure users would want to be part of it. But you know, some might expect that they would actually get rewarded by way of upvote while using the tag which my voting manna may not cater for all.
Moreover, the use of tags on threads are no longer promoted unlike in the time past when there was a leader board for tags and there competition amongst which community tag will be at the top of the leader board.
