Sunday 14th May, 2023 was the day of the wedding. Church service was by 10am.
Very early that morning, the make-up artist and the hair dresser came. She had already made her hair the previous day so it just needed to be packed well
i like weddings for free alcohol lol
You ain't getting any free alcohol here
After dressing up the hair, she made her nails too. The make up person then took over and gave her a beautiful face beat. She was just glowing 😍.
You know we love looking our best on our special days. 🤣

At first, my friend didn't want nails and lashes because she said they wouldn't fit her, omoh, I persuaded her to allow them put it and she finally agreed.

After the make up and everything, she was given a mirror to look at herself and she couldn't believe how ravishing beautiful she was looking. This was her first time of having a professional face beat. 🤣

That is awesome! Nothing we do normally at home compares to the job of professional makeup artists, they do magic. And I love when they find the best of you instead of just giving you another face
You are right. Professionals have a way of giving our faces the best they need.
While she was admiring herself, one of her colleagues walked in and shouted, Ada, is this really you? Wow you look so beautiful even your husband won't recognize you again 🤣🤣
Well, that's the power of make up. 😛
9:30am all was set and they headed to the church.
Church service was lively with lots of melodious rendition from the choir and enough dancing. I danced myself out.

Marriage is so nice and so sweet but always pray and work towards a good and caring partner because we all always wanted to celebrate with the great family and not uncomfortable marriage
Time came for the exchange of vows came and they performed it amidst claps and cheers from the congregation.
Shouts of wow, awwnnn, was heard from every corner of the church. .🤣
Church service continued till it was time to sign marriage certificate.
They went to the office to get that done while the choir continued with songs.

After signing the certificate, they came back to the church and the pastor presented them to the congregation as Mr Ulonna & Mrs Agatha Ifenkwe and said to the groom "you may kiss the bride".
Did he do it or not? Check next comment.
At first, he was shy, and gave her a peck on the forehead, but after the pastor encouraged him to do so, he grabbed her and gave her a lingering kiss, lol 😂
Hei, the whole church scattered, people clapping, laughing 😂
After the kissing spree, the pastor told the whole church to pray for them & also give Offering, which was later handed over to them to assist in starting a new family.
Finally the service came to an end & we all headed to reception

The reception was held in one of the event centers in town. The decoration was beautifully done with the colors of the day; royal blue, pink, green, white and golden.
Before the reception took off, the couple took picture with guests
After that, the MC took the floor and welcomed everyone, while calling special guests to the high table. The parents of the couple were also called to come out and dance, and as they did people sprayed money on them.
Next on the program was couple's entrance. It was a stylish one as they were accompanied by the bridal train, women group from the church, asoebi ladies and gents all dancing in different styles. But something funny happened, next comment
The groom doesn't know how to dance 🤣. Even with all the gingering from the groom's men, he couldn't. The bride was scattering the dance floor with her ladies
The reception was real owambe.
Assorted drinks, foods were served. Party jellof rice was not left out. That's my favorite 😜
The cake was cut and they performed the first assignment of feeding each other. It was beautiful sight to behold as they petted each other while performing that task.
They received lots of gifts from family, friends, colleagues and well wishers, while they equally shared souvenirs.
It was a successful wedding ceremony. God be praised.
