As you rightly mention, certainly Bitcoin as a retirement savings might not be in people's plans for now, but as the mass adposition of Bitcoin as a unit of store of value happens, then it will be possible for people to start seeing the upside from the profitable and only then could they see cryptocurrencies as a Retirement/savings plan.
