What Is GHAWG?
#GHAWG is short for "God's Hog: A Watchful Guardian." This fictional story tells how David Guardia, a courier and business owner from Bayonne, New Jersey, US moved into the next phase of his life after spending the final ten years of his ailing father's life helping him.

| ποΈ Even though David Guardia had been touched by The Lord to be used as His tool to deliver news of hope for the less fortunate and caution for those in power, he himself remains the flawed human being he always was (and will continue to be, far into the future). Although Rhonda Bella Guardia was a wild child compared to her husband and had lived a much more varied life, she has a strong spirit wanting to align with good. It's one reason she was ready to drop everything in her life to follow David after meeting him at the bar in Davenport, Iowa, US. |

During Mass (for Roman Catholics like him, or for weekly services for other Christian demoninations), we are always reminded that whatever we request will be granted-- or not-- in accordance not with our will but according to the Will of God the Father. |

(Other people would just call her a sinner, but that describes all of us and is too general a description of her.) | After we reunited at the California Route 66 Museum, we rode north on D Street until it became North D Street. After lunch at Emma Jean's Holland Burger Cafe, we rode and saw that North D St. turned into National Trails Highway. |

When most people outside California think of The Golden State, they usually think of the major West Coast cities (San Franciso, Los Angeles, and San Diego) along with the state capital of Sacramento. We tend to forget that California has much to offer on its eastern side, especially close to Nevada and Arizona. |

Our Heroes travel east through California between the towns of Barstow and Needles. On reaching Needles, just a short distance from the state line of Arizona, they take a day to refuel and rest. It's the first time during David Guardia's Epic Ride that they pass by a South Indian restaurant, so David thought it was a good idea to let the crew have a meal cooked in the style of Sanjay Rampersad's native India. Overall it was a good experience for the crew, although for himself he may want those 2 hours of his life back.
