The IRS isn't necessary. It only came into existence in the middle 1910s, and that was because a constitutional amendment was passed to make federal income tax legal. While I don't see income tax disappearing, we still don't need the IRS.

I love the idea of destroying the IRS and getting rid of income taxes! I mean, I haven't paid taxes in a few years any because I opted out by actually walking the crypto walk. Hasn't been easy, but it's worth it!
For people who complain about tariffs & their impact on commerce, it was tariffs which allowed the federal gov't 2collect tax revenues; no income tax was needed B4 the creation of the IRS, and then it was due to a constitutional amendment.

I'm sure Trump will face a lot of resistance
It is 100% certain that he will encounter resistance; that's simply how it is whenever he's involved. However, he lives for that resistance; it's what gets his juices flowing.
Will he succeed? As he is known for saying, "we shall see."
He'll surely succeed, the resistance and opposition is what keeps him alive, it's like that's his life purpose hehe.
Like him or hate him-- and he has equal numbers of fans and haters-- he will always keep it entertaining for the rest of us.
