Yea the start up costs and fees on Axie are kind of crazy. I think Alien Worlds picked things up but I honestly don't see how the model works that well. Splinterlands seems like a better gaming model that people can follow.

For anyone wanting to get into blockchain gaming, I would recommend Splinterlands, Rising Star, and the other Hive-based games. If money is no object, I would still recommend the Hive games but let the person go with an Axie Infinity-type game if he or she was really desparate to blow through wads of money.

Yea I like HIVE based games because the investment doesn't need to be that big and you can earn it back by blogging.

I looked it up and I'm a bit torn.
On one hand, the concept is very interesting and apparently, it's built on a blockchain that's specific to gaming (Libplanet).
However, it looks a bit childish and repetitive. I'm not sure I'd enjoy it

Maybe it's a proof of concept project. There's plenty on crypto and blockchain wheich is new and experiemental.
