Suppose we take them @ their word. Neither needs more attention than what they already get. It could be a grudge match, & MZ is known 2train N MMA. Big winners R charities & Dana White. At least this match will be better than Space Jam 2.

Once I learned that SJ2 was a LeBron James project and not a Michael Jordan project, I bailed. Although I never saw SJ2, reviews from critics who normally fawn over James were absolutely brutal. Rocky V was Citizen Kane by comparison.

Correct. It's the movie not acknowledged by Rocky Balboa and the Creed series. The movie is OK, but it's out of character for the series.
I think they wanted to keep the franchise going yet have nowhere to go especially since Stallone was aging.
The idea behind Rocky V was to complete the series as a rags to riches back to rags story. I see merit in the concept, but its execution wasn't what was expected. Some movie has to be ranked last in a series, and this was the one.
