Making playoffs in NBA is no big deal, except 4 historically putrid teams (& Knicks). Big ? is if Chris Paul can finally reach NBA Finals & then win a championship. He could end up like Hakeem Olajuwon, but he may end up like Patrick Ewing.

Yes the playoffs and the Knicks havent collided. But then the Knicks are a poorly run organization.
We were pre-schoolers when the NYK won the NBA title, so it feels to us like it never happened. Pre-2000 highlight for us was the OJ-tinged 1994 NBA Finals they lost in 7 games 2 the Houston Rockets. Post-2000 highlight for us is Linsanity.
Yeah no prayer of remember. I do not remember Reed, Frazier or any of them. My first recollection of the Knicks was Michael Ray Richardson era.
